Fun Home

Fun Home is an unusual writing which focuses on two types of writing:  comedy and memoir.  The author tells of her childhood and her relationship with her dictatorial father who was a funeral home director and an English teacher.  The drawings which are black line, looking somewhat like comic strips, focus on the sexuality of the father (he was a closet homosexual) and the author who discovered she was a lesbian.
