A Good Man Is Hard to Find

How does O’Connor use foreshadowing?

At the end of the story, Grandmother notices that "there was not a cloud in the sky nor any sun," and now it indicates that she has nothing from which to get her bearings: "there was nothing around her but woods." There is no hope. This foreshadows that like her children, the Grandmother will die.
