Why doesn't Jeanne talk about Manzanar with her brothers and sisters?

The family chooses not to talk about their experiences in Manzanar because they simply want to move on.... if they don't talk about it, maybe they can pretend it wasn't real, or as Jeanne admits..... the experience became like a dream.
