What was the general reaction to the loyalty oath?

The general reaction was one of divisive. Many wanted to vote yes, yes. They didn't want to be sent out of the camp to a place even worse than Manzanar...... they didn't want to be shipped back to Japan, and they didn't want to serve in a miltary that didn't trust them against their own people. Other wanted to boycott the oath..... refuse to sign it either way, and still others wanted to coerce everyone in the camp to vote the same way.
