Fahrenheit 451

I’m doing discussion questions on the first chapter

Montag left the first fire and "turned the corner" just before finding clarisse on the street what does this suggest?

I think that meeting Clarisse was effectively turning a corner for Montag. This was Montag's essential turning point that makes him into a dynamic character. Meeting Clarisse is the spark that causes Montag to burn down his old life and preconceptions about society.
