How is Papa different from other landowners in Mexico

Unlike other land-owners, Papa isn't greedy. He is rich but he shares his wealth with the poor ant treats his workers fairly. Most workers are very loyal to Papa. He considers Alfonso, his foreman, to be his best friend. Other landowners do not have these relationships with their workers.
