queen character sketch

The Queen does not have a major role in the novel. Although she is in danger, she really doesn't show up until the end of the book. The queen is a flat or stock character. She is direct, in control, and brash. She rewards Kit and Peter but only in the way she sees fit. She doesn't seem vulnerable even though she narrowly escaped death.
