How does Ned Begay show bravery and courage in Code Talker?

Ned shows bravery and courage by volunteering for the war effort, in addition to showing bravery in the face of discrimination within the military. As a youth, he also shows courage and determination is his quest to get the best education possible, regardless of the discrimination he faced as a Navajo student.
