How would Aunt Baba feel after after Adeline went to Tijain for the orphanage?

Aunt Baba was devastated but unable to do anything about Adeline's banishment.... and even through that devastation she continued to provide Adeline with a sense of hope.

I saw the mortified stoop of her shoulders and had no heart to challenge anything she was saying. I understood dimly how important it was for
both of us to relish the dream, though I could think of nothing but the heartrending prospect of being sent away from her forever.
