Did Adeline still yearn for Father and Niang's love? Why or why not?

In my opinion, Niang's actions have left Adeline without any desire for a truce or friendship..... let alone love. Even in the case of her father, I don't think Adeline is looking for love, as much as she is looking for his approval.
