Beowulf

How is Beowulf represented as larger than life in the epic so far?

I don't know how far you have read. Beow (Beowulf) is the son of Scyld Shefing, and a strong king in his own right. Beowulf is strong and fearless. Beowuf notes that Grendel does not fight with weapons, so he decides to fight Grendel with no sword. That is pretty epic!
