This is a philosophical quote in which Equality has just discovered the word "I." Previously, Equality looked for meaning...... the meaning of his own life, and the meaning of things around him. With his discovery, Equality finally understands that the meanings he has been searching for do not really exist. The meaning is individual, he is in control of his life and its meaning will be defined through his won individual actions.
