Levin and Kitty's Word Game

Students will play the word game that Levin and Kitty play in Part 4

Common Core Standards:

CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RL.11-12.1, CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RL.11-12.10

Structure:

In Part 4, Levin and Kitty communicate with each other through a word game in which they only write the first letter of each word. Divide the class into pairs and instruct the pairs to ask each other questions using Levin and Kitty's game. For example, a student who wants to ask his partner, "What is your middle name?" would write:
