A Raisin in the Sun

What are the strengths and weaknesses of Walter and Ruth's relationship?

All I see is people describing their relationship, but no one is saying their weaknesses and strengths.

The strengths and weaknesses of Walter and Ruth bond them together. They can be polar opposites at time, but at other times we see their love and enjoyment of each other's company. Ruth is a realist, she's level headed, constant, and motherly. Walter is a dreamer.... he wants more for his wife, his son.... he wants more for his family. His actions, unlike Ruth's, are impetuous..... often, we could sit back and question his common sense. None-the-less, for all of their differences, we cannot look at these characters as weak.... merely different.
