How has Scrooge's perspective on love changed?

Scrooge realized how much he lost when he turned Belle away and faced his regrets. He remembered the love of his sister Fan and extended it to his nephew and wife. Scrooge came to embrace the love of a child and the innocence that accompanies that love.... he became a second father to Tiny Tim.
