Zlateh the Goat Lesson Plan

Bringing in Technology

Throughout the study of "Zlateh the Goat," students with disabilities should have the option of using dictation software for writing assignments, and text-to-speech software for reading assignments, or any other ADA-mandated technological accommodations.

On an online discussion platform, each student should select a passage from the text (no more than four lines) to conduct a close reading of, as in the Classroom Activity, "Close Reading."

Students may create an online gallery, such as a Tumblr or a Pinterest board with media that evokes the imagery of the court, as in the Classroom Activity, "Setting the Scene."
