    Students will attempt to write in Joyce's style.

    Structure:

    At this point in our study of Ulysses, students are hopefully familiar enough with Joyce's style that reading is significantly easier than it was at the novel's outset. One of the primary difficulties in reading this novel is Joyce's willingness to experiment with form, creating a novel that is simple in its action but endlessly deep in its execution.
