Bringing in Technology

Throughout the study of The Sound and the Fury, students with disabilities should have the option of using dictation software for writing assignments, text-to-speech software for reading assignments, or any other ADA-mandated technological accommodations.

In the Day One activity "Researching Modernism," students will use the internet to study literary high modernism.

In the Day Two activity "Understanding Intellectual Disabilities," students will use the internet to research changes in the care of people with developmental disabilities.

In the Day Six activity "Jim Crow in Mississippi," students will use the internet to learn about Jim Crow laws in the South.
