The first translation from German into English was completed by A. A. Brill, a Freudian psychoanalyst. Years later, an authorized translation by James Strachey was published. A new translation of the first edition by Joyce Crick was published in 1999. The most recent English translation by J. A. Underwood is titled “Interpreting Dreams” and was published in 2006.
