Action: Frontalis: Elevates eyebrow as when glancing or in expressions of fright or surprise. Draws scalp forward and wrinkles skin of forehead. Occipitalis. Retracts scalp; flexes galea apneurotica ( epicranial aponeurotica); --facilitates action of frontalis on eyebrow.
