Chapter 10 - Geometry - 10.2 Triangles - Exercise Set 10.2 - Page 630: 52

Answer

Angles which have the same measurement in two similar triangles are called corresponding angles.

Work Step by Step

Figures which have the same shape but it is not necessary that the same size are called similar triangles.Angles which have the same measurement in two similar triangles are called corresponding angles. Sides which are opposite to these corresponding angles are called corresponding sides. Ratios of the length of corresponding sides are equal. If the measurements of two angles of one triangle are equivalent to the two angles of the second triangle, then the two triangles are similar.
