    How is the theme of justice and injustice presented in the scene where King Edward learns of his brother's death?

    Edward does not only laments the injustice he feels he visited upon his brother Clarence, but becomes convinced that he is entirely incapable of dispensing with justice. Justice is not just a matter of giving someone their "just deserts" in this scene—it also is portrayed as a function of competent, even-handed rulership, which Edward (in his own mind) is no longer capable of.
