New Point of View #2
Kind of Activity:
Students will collaborate with peers to explore the panoply of different attitudes different people can have on the same events.
Divide the class into groups, clustered according to which character they chose to personify in their essay in the first part of this exercise. They should engaged in a short, directed discussion, sharing what they believe their character's reaction would be to seeing Cal presenting as a man for the first time. They should then work together to combine their writing projects, perhaps each choosing a paragraph from their essay and then melding them together.
