In this role, Jacobi provides the background setup and measures the development of action within the scene. The Chorus recognizes that theatre is insufficient to express the events surrounding and the action of the Battle of Agincourt.
Kenneth Branagh
The play Henry V is the fourth part of the tetralogy that begins with Richard II, Henry IV, Part 1, and Henry IV, Part 2. King Henry was depicted in the preceding two plays as a young ruffian referred to as Prince Harry or as Hal by his best friend, the profligate figure Falstaff. The backstory contextualizes King Henry V, who by the time of the film is a strong ruler who attempts to take over France.
Simon Shepherd
Duke Humphrey, King Henry's brother, is portrayed positively by Shakespeare and thus in the film. As a historical figure, he was a dignified and decision-based figure. His life and death is portrayed more heavily earlier in the War of Roses Tetralogy, but he remains in Henry V as someone who looks up to Henry.
James Larkin
Duke John of Bedford appears in earlier in the tetralogy as John of Lancaster, and he is Henry V's brother. He is older than the Duke of Gloucester.
Brian Blessed
Beaufort served as a commander in the Hundred Year's War and assumed several militaristic roles under the reign of Henry V, culminating in his position as the first, and lifelong, Duke of Exeter. Interestingly, the historical Beaufort did not become Duke until after the battle upon which the film is centered.

His death is prominently featured as part of the Battle of Agincourt narrative.
Paul Gregory
He is presented in several forms throughout the latter three books in the War of Roses tetralogy, and the Earl of Westmoreland is an anachronistic presence in the 1415 French campaign depicted in the film. Also counterfactual is the character's reticence to accept Chicele's arguments for war with France in Parliament.

She is married to Henry V, and the film shows this marriage after the Battle of Agincourt.
