Vanishing Girls is the first book in author Lisa Regan's "Detective Josie Quinn" series. This iteration follows Detective Quinn as she searches for Isabelle Coleman, a beautiful young blonde girl who suddenly goes missing one day. As she searches for Isabelle, Detective Quinn discovers that a different girl had gone missing without anyone knowing or noticing her absence. Detective Quinn starts to discover more about the case and the girls who have gone missing. She quickly determines that more than two girls may be in danger and races to find all of the missing girls before it is potentially too late.
Vanishing Girls was a fast bestseller. When it was released, the novel was included on the Wall Street Journal and USA Today Bestseller lists. The success of Vanishing Girls also spawned the launch of the aforementioned "Detective Josie Quinn" series. As of April 2022, there have been 14 books released in the series - including Vanishing Girls.
