The Vincent Boys Irony

The Vincent Boys Irony

Beau’s Surprise

Beau and Ashton are childhood friends, and they have lived to trust each other despite their differences. One day, Beau secretly goes out with his girlfriend, and they get drunk. When Ashton finds them struggling to drive home, she offers to drive them home. Beau is shocked that Ashton is not angry at him for taking his girlfriend out without her knowledge. Consequently, Beau's astonishment at Ashton's reaction is an irony that cannot be ignored.

The paradox of romance

Ashton is dating Sawyer, Beau's cousin, but currently, he is out on vacation with his family. When Ashton finds Beaus and his girlfriend, Nicole, she joins them and offers to drive them home. A romantic conversation breaks out between Ashton and Beau during the journey as they recall their childhood memories. Ashton is shocked that she is romantically attracted to Beau despite having an affair with his cousin Sawyer. The paradox is that Anthon wants to be in love with two cousins despite knowing that Beau is engaged to Nicole. When Sawyer returns, he is astonished to learn that Ashton fell in love with Beau.

The irony of revenge

Sawyer is unhappy with his cousin Sawyer who betrayed him by taking his girlfriend, Ashton. Sawyer comes up with a plan to revenge, and he targets hurting Ashton for good. When Lena visits Ashton and Beau, Sawyer takes that opportunity to start dating her to hurt Ashton. The reader learns that Sawyer and Lena have admired each other since childhood, but she has self-esteem issues. Instead of revenge, later Sawyer realizes that he sincerely loves Lena, and they fall in love. Therefore, instead of revenging to hurt Ashton, Sawyer finds his true love.
