Mitch’s decision to quit practicing law

After going through the frustrations of the Alabama and Tennessee cases, Mitch promises he will never practice law. Ironically, when Lucas requests him to finalize his Libyan lawsuit, he agrees to walk on the most dangerous path of his career. The kidnappers

Giovanna's kidnappers act as an organized gang that disrupts the ongoing case between the Turkish construction company and the Libyan government. Ironically, the government is behind the kidnapping to scare Mitch and his associate from pursuing the lawsuit. The government does not want to pay the US$400 the Turkish construction company demands.

The paradox of the mysterious woman in Manhattan

The woman who reveals to Abby that Giovanna's return requires a price of US$100 is a paradoxical character. Ironically, the woman is part of the kidnapping syndicate and thinks her actions will go uninvestigated. Abby knows that this mysterious woman is threatening Giovanna's family not to involve the police in their activities.
