Answer

Considering my weight as 60kg, Volume of blood in my body: 4800-5100mL Weight of blood present in my body is 4.8kg

Work Step by Step

(Considering my body weight is 60kg) In a healthy person, Volume of blood/body weight : 80-85mL/kg of body weight For 1kg of body weight, the minimum volume of blood present is 80mL For 60kg, ( $80\times60=4800$ ) the minimum of 4800mL is present For 1kg of body weight, the maximum volume of blood present is 85mL For 60kg, ( $80\times65=5100$ ) the maximum amount of blood present is 5100mL Therefore, the volume of blood present in my body is 4800-5100mL As given(in Table 18.1), Weight of blood is 8% of the total body weight So, $\frac{8}{100}\times60=4.8$ Therefore, the weight of my blood is 4.8kg
