Use the order of operations to simplify the expression:$$8-3[-2(2-5)-4(8-6)]$$ Work from the inner most grouping symbol: $$8-3[-2(-3)-4(2)]$$ withing the grouping symbol, there are no exponents, so move to multiplication and division in the order it appears, left to right: $$8-3[6-8]$$ then complete the grouped operation performing any addition and subtraction as they appear in order left to right $$8-3[-2]$$ all that is left is multiplication and subtraction. Multiplication comes first by the order of operations:$$8+6$$ $$14$$
