Long term predictions can sometimes be very inaccurate, as many elements can change the course of events, creating a drastic change. For this reason companies should restrict themselves from basing its future plans on long term predictions for experts, because even though they are experts they can be wrong a lot of the time, which can lead to some bad investments.
