Pompey Casmilus
Pompey is the central character, and she works in an office for Sir Phoebus. Pompey lives with her aunt, and she is Freddy's Fiancé. While in the office, Pompey uses white papers to execute her work. However, she wants to write a novel using yellow paper to distinguish it from her office work.
Sir Phoebus
Sir Phoebus is Pompey's employer. Pompey lives with her aunt, and she goes to the office every day to do her work.
Karl
Karl lives in Germany, and he is a close friend to Pompey. While in German, Pompey is not happy with Karl's lifestyle, and she refuses to marry him.
Freddy
Freddy is Pompey's boyfriend. When Pompey comes from Germany, Freddy proposes to her, reluctantly accepting his proposal. Pompey knows that she is not ready for marriage, but she agrees with Freddy's proposal to embrace him.
Pompey’s aunt
Pompey lives with her aunt. Pompey's life revolves around her aunt’s home and office. Therefore, the aunt plays a critical role in Pompey's life.
