Aaron Soto
Sixteen-year-old Aaron lives in a project house in New York with his mother and brother. The protagonist of the story is depressed and goes through difficult situations. After his father's death, Aaron attempts suicide. Eventually, he overcomes his suicidal thoughts and decides to live happily with his girlfriend, Genevieve.
Aaron's feelings for Genevieve change when he makes friends with Thomas, who lives nearby. His attraction to Thomas confuses Aaron, and he breaks up with his girlfriend. He thinks Thomas likes him too and confesses his feelings to him, but Thomas rejects him. To forget his painful memories, Aaron gets the Leteo procedure that turns his life upside-down.

Aaron meets Thomas on summer vacation at a community event, and soon they become close friends. Aaron, in the absence of Genevieve, begins spending time with Thomas. Thomas treats him only as a friend, and he rejects Aaron when he tries to kiss him.
Genevieve
Aaron’s girlfriend, Genevieve, is also an artist. They both like each other a lot until Thomas comes into their life. She doesn’t know that Aaron likes men, but after their breakup, she starts to date Thomas.
