Christian Bale
Christian Charles Philip Bale, most known as Christian Bale, is an English-American actor. He was born in England but grew up a great deal in America. He began acting at a young age, only 13 when he starred in Empire of the Sun. He was first widely recognized when he starred in American Psycho. Being a good actor, he fit easily in as the character of Rick.
Isabel Lucas
Isabel Lucas plays a character that is very similar to herself, as it was also somehow based on her. She is young and beautiful, which was what she was supposed to be in the movie. She was noticed when she starred in Transformers, before she also played in The Waiting City. Lucas did not fit into the role she was aiming for when auditioning for Home and Away, so the director made up a whole new character in order for her to be on the show.
Cate Blanchett
In the movie, Nancy was the second woman that helped Rick find his way home. She worked as a physician and he was married to her. Cate is also an actress as well as a theater director. She began her work as an actress when she got roles in Electra. She didn’t have to change much of her appearance or act for the movie, and she stated that she enjoyed working with the set.
