Love for Siblings

The protagonist of the story Hamnet is close to his twin sister Judith. His sister is sick, and her condition is getting worse. Hamnet, without his parents, is unable to find help for her sister.

When Agnes comes home and finds Judith sick, Hamnet confronts her negligence towards Judith. Agnes, already guilty, tries to heal Judith with her medicine, but nothing works. Innocent Hamnet thinks he can save Judith by fooling death, and unfortunately, Hamnet dies, but her sister lives.

Loss and Grief

Agnes is aware of the fact that she would have only two children. After having twins, she becomes worried because Judith is a sickly child. She tries her healing power to make her healthy and decides not to settle in London until Judith is healthy.

Unfortunately, Hamnet is dead, and not being able to see him for the last time, Will is petrified. He writes a play about Hamnet, and this information infuriates but watching the play leaves her emotional. Will's longing for Hamnet and unable to watch him grow shows in the play. The ending scene shows the death of the father.

Betrayal

The story begins with the love affair of Will and Agnes. Her charming and aloof personality attracts Will towards her, and soon they become a couple. Will to expand his family business, goes to London after making a promise to his wife to take her with him as soon as their daughter becomes healthy.

Will, after the death of Hamnet, is reluctant to go back home. Soon, Agnes realizes that Will has been with other women, and Will's apology proves his infidelity.
