Retelling Project: Why retellings?

Students will explore the nature and importance of retellings.

Structure:
Before this activity, students should read Malinda Lo’s “One True Love” (http://www.lightspeedmagazine.com/fiction/one-true-love/). It is a spin on the traditional princess/step-mother type of fairy tale.
