    How is the Big Guy presented in this story?

    The Big Guy represents people who are reluctant to try new things. In this case, he does not want to try the green eggs and ham Sam is offering him, and emphasizes he would not like them "anywhere." He makes a judgment about the food due to its appearance and refuses to even give it a try.

    What is Green Eggs and Ham about, in terms of its ultimate moral?

    Overall, this is a story about accepting and welcoming new things and experiences. The green eggs and ham at first look unappealing; however, they actually taste delicious. Here, Seuss is warning us against judging a book by its cover.
