Objective:
Students will be able to recognize multiple forms of protest.
Common Core Standards:
CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.W.11-12.6, CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.W.11-12.7
Structure:
To begin the activity, have students do a Think-Pair-Share. Give them a couple of minutes to write down as many forms of protest as they can think of. Encourage students to think outside the box and to specifically think of forms of protest that are available to them. Then, have students share their lists with a partner.
