Rage Summary

Rage Summary

Rage is a book by Bob Woodward that supposedly takes you on a roller-coaster ride into the mind of one of the most controversial U.S. President of all time. Donald J. Trump is the primary subject in this report that deeply delves into what Woodward observed and took note during Trump’s presidency.

The author unveils behind the scene moments that put Trump’s leadership skills under the microscopic eyes of the American people. Faced with claims of security concerns, operational incompetence, pandemic mismanagement, social unrest, and volatile markets, Donald Trump is facing an election year with nothing but his word going for him.

Woodward had access to a chunk of information through confidential letters, notes, emails, and interviews that he used to write this book. Trump’s presidency has been plagued with heightened nuclear tensions, trade wars, social unrest, impeachment inquiries, election fraud, immigration, and inequality.

Through all these tensions, Woodward claims that Trump acts like a child throwing tantrums and refusing to engage in a civil conversation with the left-wing. Woodward questions why the American people allowed an unstable president to take office without a psychological evaluation.

The book also criticizes Trump’s friendly relationships with totalitarian leaders who commit countless human rights violation and does not uphold the same American values as past President’s have conducted themselves as the leader of the world.

Trump’s presidency has leaned more on an authoritarian rule which is creating civil unrest in the United States of America as a culture war is imminent. Woodward asserts that American democracy is under attack by a President who undermines the constitution. He abuses the power of the executive by pursuing his interests rather than that of the people that elected him into office.

Rage concludes that Trump is the wrong man for the presidency, claiming he’s a danger to the American people and the world. On November 3rd, the American people will once again have the chance to choose their president.
