Chapter P - P.1 - Graphs and Models - Exercises - Page 8: 4

Answer

The answer is graph (c)

Work Step by Step

You can figure out the answer through two ways: 1) If you know what a cubic ( raised to the power of 3) graph looks like, then immediately graph (c) is the answer but if you didn't then way 2 is the way you should've followed 2) By factoring ( taking out similar terms from each term) we get x$*$(x$^2$-1). This tells us that the roots are x=0; x=-1 and x=1. graph (c) is the only graph that has those three points as roots hence it's the answer.
