Maleficent

Maleficent is the protagonist of this film, as it follows her backstory and her experiences from a young fairy until her adulthood. We see how Maleficent is altered by her experiences, and how she becomes villainous and cruel towards Aurora. In addition to this, we also see how she comes to care for Aurora, which is different from the original.
