The most significant thing about the novel, 1984, is its accuracy in predicting the furture. Orwell's forethought is an amazong thing.... it was a warning, and if we look around us today..... he was right on target. History has been rewritten, Big Brother IS watching, and we are fed propaganda everyday through the internet and new media.
