Zeitoun

How did Zeitoun's background, culture, and religion guide him throughout this disaster and influence the choices he made?

It would be better if they were positive influence, thanks.

I think that Zeiton's unbelievably steadfast spirit is what guided him through the disaster. Yes, he had very strong cultural and religious beliefs, and they more than likely guided him in making decision, but I think his inner strength and positive attitude brough him through his trials in light of the disaster he faced. He was a good man with a good heart...... and although his religion was hugely responsible for the treatment he received, it was his own perseverance that brought him through.
