Black Dog is very secretive about what he wants from Bill. He is rough looking and looks as if he has a score to settle. Black Dog is adamant that he surprise the captain which makes Jim feel uneasy. Making sure the boy cannot warn Bill of his presence, the stranger makes the boy hide until Bill appears.Then an argument ensues.
