22. What was Jim's "adventure of the apple barrel"?

In Chapter Ten, Jim wants an apple and goes searching in the apple barrel. When he finds the apples are gone, Jim falls asleep in the barrel. When he wakes up, he is surprised to hear Silver's voice. At the end of the chapter, the narrator tells us that Jim came to understand that the safety of all the "honest men" aboard depended upon his escaping safely.
