To Kill a Mockingbird

To Kill a Mockingbird Who is Rosa Parks? How did she change the way women had Rights? This can be found in the Summary/Sudy-Guide of the GradeSaver section.

I am reading about To Kill a Mockingbird, and I want to know why the study guide talks about the Civil Rights Movement, in which at that time, no women had rights. Only men did. Please tell me why the study guide talks about the Civil Rights Movement, at the time Ms. Lee wrote this book. (I think!)
