To Kill a Mockingbird

Like Dill, Scout wants to marry Dill so badly but what makes Dill hesitate and maybe might not want to marry Scout? Or, what made Scout sad, after Dill left to go see his dad in Meridian? *You may not use links!*

They're children, talking about marriage is child's talk. Scout is sad when he returns to meridian because she thought he would stay in Maycomb.

Dill wants to marry Scout, no doubt about that. Dill doesn't hesitate to marry eight year old Scout. He said that when he gets back from Meridian, he'll scoop her up and marry her.
