You have too many questions here for this short space. I'll address your first one here. The Europeans introduced religion and government to the Igbo. They were able to attract marginalised Igbo, like Okonkwo's son Nwoye, to their society. They began to aquire more land and control more of the basic insttitutions that would replace Igbo culture.
