In Chapter 7, what more do we learn about Kahu, Rawiri, Nani Flowers and Koro Apirana?

In Chapter Seven, we learn that the town of Whangara people look upon Koro as a sort of hero of Maori culture. Koro was fighting to preserve Maori culture, but too quickly that cultural power was becoming but a memory.
