The Taming of the Shrew

Two questions from act 3, scene 1 of Taming of the Shrew in the details box below!

1.What specific time indicator does the scene include?

2. How does the scene compare and contrast with Petruchio's encounter with Katherina in act 2?

I'm not sure what you mean by "indicator" but Lucentio and Hortensio, disguised respectively as Cambio and Litio, vie for the attention of the fair Bianca. It involves the subplot (wooing of Bianca) of the play. The scene utilizes the clever use of puns as it did in the previous act. This contrasts in the way men see women in marriage. Both these men go to ridiculous lengths to woo Bianca unlike Petruchio who goes to ridiculous lengths to control Kate.
