The Taming of the Shrew

Taming of the Shrew Alternate setting.

Suggest a new setting for the story, both in time and place. Describe what other changes would need to be made as a result of changing the setting (i.e. language, clothing, etc.).

This has been done over the years..... Shakespeare's work is so intricate and timeless, all you need to do is pick a new time and place of your choosing. The most modern adaptation I can think of is the film "10 Things I Hate About You." This film is based on Shakepeare and was a huge hit amongst young people.
